About Us

Dr. Mike Kelly

Dr. Mike Kelly has worked in Supply Chain, Continuous Improvement, Operations management and consulting roles for over 35 years, in the Middle East, South Africa and at home. He trained as a maintenance fitter with Irish Sugar back in the day and studied Mechanical Engineering at Carlow SETU.

He holds a BA in Management from the Irish Management Institute, a Masters in Supply Chain Management from Dublin Institute of Technology and a PGDip. in Lean Management from SETU. Mike has researched Process Improvement and Organisational Transformation and will publish in 2023. His unique approach to Continuous Improvement is highly regarded across a number of industries.

He has successfully delivered CI consultancy projects at home and abroad, adding value, optimising processes and creating competitive advantage, with minimum interruption to the organisational day-to-day running of the business.

His approach is to keep it site-specific and relevant. Mike “gives back” to society through part-time counselling and life coaching. Mike researched operational excellence to PhD level.

Over 16 years self employed in Management Consulting, at home and abroad, successfully delivering cost-saving projects in operations, finance, supply chain, supply chain, NPD, factory upgrade and plant design.
Over 25 years in senior management in Ireland, South Africa and Saudi Arabia.

• Lead Consultant on new, green field manufacturing facilities, in Ireland, South Africa and Saudi Arabia.
• Restructured supply chain and operations value chains in FMCG, Automotive, Construction, Engineering and Polymer industries.
• Delivered significant cost saving continuous improvement projects (Over €2.4 million 2018-2022)
• Secured significant grant support for a number of organisations (Over €11million secured 2018-2022)
